Don DiGiorgio – My New Joint (Free Download)
Don dropped this joint earlier this week, his first leak from his upcoming mixtape, Donomatopeia. It’s set to drop on December 19. Here goes some more info:
The First Single off of Donomatopoeia, “My New Joint,” produced by So Crates & Sour Beats of Hippie Sabotage is an upbeat joint geared towards purveyors of the cannabis culture. Starting out with a sample from the stoner-classic Dazed & Confused, the track could’ve fit right in with the Super High project that Don DiGiorgio & Big Hop dropped last year, however, it appears that Don’s smoking habits have changed as he mentions “I don’t do blunts, I get jointed.” “My New Joint” is filled with creative plays on the English language, my favorite being his mix up of the months of the year: “I’m with her all month I call it Gramuary / too high July to Croptober, I Grovember, for Treecember.” Look forward to more puns and metaphor in the upcoming album Donomatopoeia set to release on December 19 of this year, Don’s first solo release since Feel Good Music in October of 2009.
